Dr. Stephanie Johnson, PsyD, MSCP
CEO/ Chief Psychologist
Dr. Stephanie Johnson is a licensed clinical psychologist with over 17 years of experience in the mental health care field. She received her doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of La Verne and has received her postdoctoral master’s degree in clinical psychopharmacology. She has gained experience at Aurora Charter Oaks Hospital, where she worked with inpatients suffering from acute psychiatric disorders and patients with dual diagnoses in the residential treatment facility. Her postdoctoral training included working at several medical clinics in Southern California, where she trained in behavioral medicine and worked with patients of all age groups who suffered from chronic pain, depression, anxiety, and PTSD. Dr. Johnson provides independent medical evaluations, workers’ compensation evaluations, presurgical evaluations, adult ADHD evaluations, and psychodiagnostic evaluations. Dr. Johnson is an EMDR certified clinician and specializes in the treatment of PTSD. She also uses CBT, Internal Family Systems, and Ego State therapy to aid her clients in the healing process. Dr. Johnson is a military police officer veteran who served in the United States Army, and she has a passion for helping first responders and veterans.
Dr. Elsa Ferris, Psy.D.
VP of Operations/Psychologist
Dr. Elsa Ferris is a licensed psychologist with over 8 years of experience specializing in child, adolescent, and family care. After graduating from the University of La Verne, Dr. Ferris received training in Parent Child Interaction Therapy and Functional Family Therapy, which focuses on increasing the quality of relationships between children and teenagers and their parents. Dr. Ferris furthered her skills in bringing families together during her Post Doctoral year at Kaiser Permanente, where she facilitated individual and group treatment while providing comprehensive mental healthcare alongside medical professionals. Today, Dr. Ferris seeks to help people so that they can transform into their ideal selves. In doing so, Dr. Ferris treats adults, couples, families, teenagers, and children. Dr. Ferris is also certified in EMDR to better provide patients with efficient and effective trauma treatment. Other areas that Dr. Ferris has training in include Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. Dr. Ferris has utilized her training to lead therapy groups on various topics, which have included Parenting Skills, Parenting Today’s Teen, Children’s Worry Group, and Teens’ Depression and Anxiety Group. In individual treatment, Dr. Ferris helps those who struggle with anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADHD, anger, and grief.


Dr. Sandra Rice, Psy.D.

Hello, my name is Dr. Sandra Rice. I am a licensed clinical psychologist in California. I earned my master’s degree in Marital and Family Therapy from Loma Linda University, then went on to earn my doctorate in Clinical Forensic Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I have worked within the criminal justice system with parolees and incarcerated individuals for the past 8 years. Previously, I worked with children in foster care as well as adults living in a homeless transitional program. These experiences have taught me how to show warmth and empathy to my clients, regardless of their past or present life circumstances. I utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches with my clients ranging from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Motivational Interviewing and Narrative Therapy,
Dr. Ashley Bauman, Psy.D.
Psychologist
Dr. Ashley Bauman is a licensed psychologist specializing in adult and older adult mental health treatment. She received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Indianapolis. She completed an internship and postdoctoral training at Pacific Clinics, a community mental health clinic, where she provided therapy and testing to adult and older adult clients. She also has experience working in skilled nursing facilities and inpatient psychiatric hospitals. She is trained in EMDR in order to help clients to process their trauma. Her therapy style centers on the idea that the most effective healing comes when core issues are identified and worked through in a safe, trusting environment. Dr. Bauman helps those who struggle with depression, anxiety, PTSD, grief, and personality disorders. She strives to create a therapeutic environment tailored to each client’s unique experience and needs, including a commitment to diversity and consideration of how one’s culture affects their mode of relating and expressing themselves.


Dr. Cassidy Erbst, PsyD

Dr. Cassidy Erbst is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in psychotherapy and psychological assessment, for both children and adults. She completed her doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of La Verne.
Dr. Erbst’s spent her postdoctoral year at Kaiser Permanente, where she worked with individuals of all ages focusing on anxiety, depression, life transitions, neurodiversity, and parenting. Additionally, she specialized in child and adult Autism evaluations.
Dr. Erbst continues to support individuals with anxiety, depression, ADHD, Autism, identity & self-esteem, grief, and parenting challenges. She approaches therapy with a multicultural and neuro affirming lens, tailoring treatment to every client’s unique developmental needs and diverse set of values. In her sessions with children, she incorporates play and art, which allows her to connect and foster growth. Dr. Erbst integrates aspects of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based interventions to empower clients and make meaningful changes. She also provides ADHD, Autism, and psychodiagnostic evaluations.
Elisa HG Smith, PsyD

Hello! I am Dr. Elisa HG Smith. I obtained my doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University Graduate School of Education and Psychology. I provide both in-person and telehealth services at Summit Psychological Services and specialize in the emotional well-being of children, adolescents, and adults. With a compassionate and integrative approach, I assist clients in navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, grief, chronic pain, and significant life transitions.
Recognizing the uniqueness of each individual, I employ innovative, evidence-based therapies tailored to meet the specific needs of my clients. My commitment is to address not only the symptoms but the holistic experience of each person, empowering them to thrive and achieve a balanced, fulfilling life.
In addition to my clinical work, I value time spent with my two bulldogs, Yogi and Lola, and enjoy exploring the beauty of nature. I also prioritize moments with family and friends, as these connections enrich my perspective on mental health and well-being.


Iliana Flores, PsyD

Dr. Flores is a bilingual (English/Spanish), Latina (Mexican-American) Registered Psychological Associate committed to providing culturally responsive, evidence-based care. She earned her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from University of California, Santa Barbara.
She has extensive experience providing clinical and crisis services across diverse settings, including community mental health, university counseling centers, correctional facilities, and inpatient hospitals. Her work spans a broad range of concerns, from acute psychological crises to longer-term emotional, relational, and life-transition challenges.
Dr. Flores takes a collaborative, warm, and individualized approach to therapy. She prioritizes building strong therapeutic relationships and tailors treatment to each client’s unique strengths, values, and goals, integrating evidence-based practices to promote meaningful and lasting change.
Her clinical and research interests include expanding access to mental health care for historically underserved communities, developing culturally responsive interventions, and thoughtfully integrating psychological treatment with clients’ faith and spirituality when meaningful to their healing process
